How to Configure Asset Tracking

Objective

  1. Review how to configure asset trackers via the Relay Pro App

Environment/Applies To

  1. Relay Pro Plan
  2. Relay Pro App with Indoor Location

Procedure

  1. First, pull the tabs to activate the battery for the Asset Trackers
  2. In the Relay Pro App, navigate to the Account tab
  3. Tap Manage Tracked Assets
  4. Tap Add Asset
  5. Name the Asset
  6. Scan the QR Code of the Asset Tracker
    1. Note: If prompted, allow the Relay Pro App access to your camera in order to use the QR code scanning function
  7. Secure the Asset Tracker to your equipment

Additional Notes

  1. Asset Trackers are available in two sizes. The smaller asset tags have a battery life of 8-12 months, whereas the larger asset trackers have a battery life of up to 10 years. We recommend documenting when your asset trackers were put into service and plan their battery replacements accordingly.
