What is Scan and Override

Overview: 

Scan & Override is an add on feature available to all service plans that adds two targeted communication capabilities to the Relay experience. 

What it does:

  • Channel Scanning: allows a user listen to multiple channels by entering a personal “Scanner” with selected channels (configured per user).
  • Override: gives designated users permission to "interrupt" an active message to deliver a higher-priority communication (such as urgent operational or safety messages).
