How to Configure Override

Overview: 

Override is included in the "Scan and Override" add on feature. This article reviews how to configure Override for users. 

Environment: 

  1. Dash / Relay Pro App
  2. Relay Devices

How to Set Up Override:

  1. Log into dash.relaypro.com
  2. Under Account, click Users
  3. Click into the specific user you want to configure
  4. Select Override
  5. Click Yes to enable it for that user

How Override Works (once enabled):

  • On a device: press and hold the Talk button during an incoming message to interrupt it; the other message ends and yours begins
  • In Dash: press and hold the talk button while an incoming message is coming in
Notes
If two users with override are both messaging at same time, the newest message would take priority.
