Overview

NFC tags make it easy for team members to sign in and out of a Relay device using an assigned badge or tag. This helps teams share devices while keeping each team member’s profile, name, settings, and activity tied to the correct person.

Environment:

1. Relay Devices

Sign into a Relay device with an NFC tag

Important Note:

1. The device must be unassigned in order to log into a new profile
   
2. A device can only be logged into one profile at a time. If a device is logged into another profile, that device must be logged out, or unassigned in Dash, before a new profile can be logged in. 

1. Pick up the Relay device you want to use.
2. Press either volume button to wake the device.
3. Hold your assigned NFC tag near the back of the Relay device.
4. The device will confirm that you have signed in.

You are now signed in and ready to use the Relay device.

At the end of your shift:

1. Press either volume button to wake the device.
2. Hold your assigned NFC tag or badge near the back of the Relay device.
3. The device will confirm that you have signed out.
