How to Enable or Disable Do Not Disturb (DND) for a Relay

Objective

  1. To better understand how to turn Do Not Disturb (DND) on and off on a Relay Device 

Environment / Applies To 

  1. Relay+ Device 
  2. RelayX Device
  3. Relay Dash

Procedure 

Do Not Disturb mode places the Relay in a state where unwanted audio cues, messages, and accidental button presses will no longer be a concern

Enabling & Disabling Do Not Disturb On a Device 

  1. Press both the Volume Up and Volume down buttons at the same time to enable Do Not Disturb
  2. A voice prompt will indicate whether the Relay is on or off Do Not Disturb mode
  3. The three lights on the face of the Relay will change from white to purple to indicate that the device is in Do Not Disturb mode 
  4. Repeat step #1 to disable Do not Disturb  

Enabling & Disabling Do Not Disturb in Dash 

  1. Log in to Dash at dash.relaypro.com
  2. Click Account
  3. Click Users
  4. Select the User you are enabling/disabling DND for
  5. Click Do Not Disturb
  6. When enabling or disabling DND from Dash, the Relay Device will not vibrate or announce a voice prompt indicating it has entered or exited DND, however the LED lights on the face of the Relay will change to purple
  7. Repeat step #1 to disable Do not Disturb  

Enabling & Disabling Do Not Disturb in the Relay Pro App

  1. Log into the Relay Pro App on your phone
  2. Tap Overview
  3. In Do Not Disturb Status, tap the column of the users current Do Not Disturb status
  4. Tap Do Not Disturb Is Off to turn DND on, or Do Not Disturb is On to turn DND off
