How to Initiate a Panic Alert From the Relay Pro App

Objective

  1. Use the Relay Pro app to initiate a panic alert

Environment/Applies To

  1. Relay Pro App
  2. Account Owners, Admins, and Users
  3. Relay Essentials, Pro, or Enterprise Plan with panic configured 

Procedure

  1. Open the Relay Pro App on your smartphone
  2. At the top of the screen tap Initiate Panic
  3. Slide the megaphone icon across the screen from left to right to initiate the panic alert

Additional Notes

  1. The user's location will be sent with the panic notification if they have location tracking enabled
    1. The user's location will only be tracked during an active panic incident in which they are the initiator
  2. A virtual user can not acknowledge their own panic, but they can resolve it
  3. App users on iOS with live audio enabled will not hear an audible confirmation when their panic alert has been acknowledged
