How to Enable or Disable Message History for a Channel

Objective

  1. Enable or disable message history for channels within Dash

Environment/Applies To

  1. Relay Dash
  2. Account Owners/Admins

Procedure

Important
As message history creates an audio and text transcription record of messages sent across the enabled channel, you are responsible for being aware of laws and regulations related to message recording, including but not limited to, single and multi party consent. Please ensure you are following any applicable laws and regulations, as well as any brand or company standards, in relation to recording others before enabling this feature.
  1. Go to dash.relaypro.com and click Sign In
  2. Log in with your email address and password
  3. On the left side, click Account
  4. Click Channels
  5. Select the channel you want to modify the message history setting for
  6. If you'd like message history enabled for this channel, click the empty circle next to Message History
    1. Note: If there is a checkmark next to Message History, it is already enabled.
    2. If you'd like to disable message, click the existing checkmark next to Message History so that a blank circle is displayed

Additional Notes

  1. Message history is available for the previous 7 days
