How to Enable Do Not Disturb (DND) Mode While Charging

Objective

  1. Automate your Relay+ devices to go into Do Not Disturb (DND) mode anytime they are charging and automatically return to normal operation when removed from the charger

Environment/Applies To

  1. Relay Dash
  2. Relay+ Devices

Procedure

Enable Do Not Disturb (DND) While Charging for All Devices

  1. Sign in to Dash at dash.relaypro.com
  2. Click Communications on the left side
  3. Click Commands
  4. Click the Icon next to DND While Charging
  5. Select the Group(s) you want to enable this for, or choose Select All Users 
  6. Click Submit 

Enable Do Not Disturb (DND) While Charging for Individual Devices

  1. Sign in to Dash
  2. Under Account click Users
  3. Click on the device you'd like to enable Do Not Disturb (DND) While Charging for
  4. Click the option for DND While Charging on the left side
  5. Repeat this process for all devices you'd like to have enter DND mode while charging

Additional Notes

  1. Devices in DND mode will not receive panic alerts
  2. If you enable DND while charging for all devices, you will not be able to disable this for individual devices. If you have individual devices that should not be in DND mode while charging (e.g., devices used in vehicles that remain plugged in at all times, devices that are stationary and remain plugged in at all times, etc.) follow the instructions for enabling DND while charging for individual devices.
  3. There is not an on-device notification or visual indication that a device switches to DND mode when charging
