How to Connect a Bluetooth Headset to a Relay

How to Connect a Bluetooth Headset to a Relay

Relays have the ability to add a Bluetooth headset through Dash, the Relay app or the Relay itself. The following headsets have been verified to work with Relay and are available for purchase on Amazon:
  1. BlueParrot M300-XT
  2. Jabra Talk 45
  3. Jabra Talk 65
  4. Shockz OpenComm 2
  5. Jabra Perform 45
*Jabra Perform 45's push-to-talk (PTT) function is not compatible with Relay's push-to-talk function. In order to use Relay's PTT function, you'll need to use the buttons on the Relay device.

These headsets have been validated to work with Relay as intended. While other Bluetooth headsets can connect to your Relay devices, the reliability and functionality available for each may vary. We do not guarantee compatibility of any third-party headsets.

Please note: the volume of the Bluetooth headset is independent of the Relay's volume control.  For example, when the volume is changed on the Bluetooth headset, the volume of the headset will change, not the Relay device.
